Terms of Service

1. The service

Storefish provides software to create and run an online store, including a merchant dashboard, a hosted storefront, embeddable checkout, and integrations with a payment gateway and couriers. Current plans and fees are published on our Pricing page — we do not repeat exact figures here so this document doesn't go stale; the version on that page at the time you are billed applies.

2. Billing

Paid plans bill on an anniversary basis from the date you upgrade — not a shared calendar date. Amounts due are rounded; any residual balance under $10.00 is carried forward to the next billing cycle rather than charged separately. If a payment fails, we will retry and notify you by email before any suspension of service ("dunning with notice") — we do not suspend a store without warning.

3. Your data, your store

You own your product catalogue, order history and customer data. We process buyer personal information strictly on your behalf as your service provider, per our Privacy Policy. If you close your account, you may request an export of your data before deletion.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Storefish to sell illegal goods, engage in fraud, or otherwise breach applicable law. We may suspend a store that violates this section, with notice where reasonably possible given the nature of the breach.

5. Liability

Storefish is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Storefish is incorporated, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of that jurisdiction's courts. (Owner: name the actual jurisdiction here before this document is relied on for a live, paying merchant base.)

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Storefish after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
